Deposits and Cancellations
Just Fer Paws Kennels has one of the most guest-friendly reservation policies in the Smoky Mountains. To make a reservation, only the first night's boarding / day care fee, tax - 9.75%, and credit card manual transaction fee - 3.5% is required as a deposit. Full payment is required at time of checkout by either cash, check, or major credit card (2.75% swipe fee is also applied for card transactions).
Payment
One night's boarding / daycare fee, tax, and card manual fee with a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express) is required to confirm a reservation. Sorry, but no personal or business checks are accepted unless received at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date of arrival.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Tennessee Code annotated. Title 47, Chapter 18 and Title 62, Chapter 13, Section 62-13-104 (b) (3), subdivision (D) (i), Just Fer Paws Kennels discloses the following policy:
"All advance boarding / daycare reservation deposits, taxes, and credit fees are deposited into a bank reservation operating account. These deposits are considered earned income to Just Fer Paws Kennels upon receipt and may be used immediately. Any refund considerations are expenses from the general books of Just Fer Paws Kennels on a case by case basis."
Should you need to change your dates, you can reschedule your reservation any time with no penalty, as long as the change is processed at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date. If you cancel more than 48 hours prior from your arrival, Just fer Paws Kennels will provide an allowance in the amount of the forfeited deposit, less any applicable taxes, for use on a future visit within one year. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, will result in all funds on deposit being forfeited.
